This was not a minor cosmetic issue. This was a completely unusable piece of equipment for a working restaurant. When I contacted WebstaurantStore, I was told I needed to file a warranty claim instead of receiving an immediate replacement. That response was extremely frustrating. We were delivered a defective unit straight out of the box, yet the burden was placed on us to wait for service and repairs. In the restaurant industry, downtime is not an inconvenience it directly impacts operations, food safety, and revenue. We had already removed our old unit, assuming the new one would function properly. Now we are left without usable refrigeration while waiting for warranty service on a brand-new purchase. Ordering large commercial equipment online may seem convenient, but understand the risk: if something arrives defective, you may be stuck going through warranty processes instead of receiving immediate resolution.
